Travelonation - The island of Bali in Indonesia cannot visit foreign tourists during 2020 related to the Corona Virus pandemic (Covid-19).
Authorities noted that foreign tourists would be allowed to visit Bali in August, but this was canceled due to the Covid-19 case in Indonesia.
This decision is a heavy burden on the people and economy on the island of Bali. previously millions of foreign tourists came to Bali every year to enjoy the beautiful beaches and rice fields there.
However, this year, the number of foreign tourists entering Bali since Indonesia closed its borders to foreigners during the Covid-19 pandemic has decreased sharply. this is an effort to stop the transmission of Covid-19.
Bali is known to have reported 4,576 coronavirus infections and 52 deaths at the end of last August. Nationally, Indonesia has reported more than 155,000 coronavirus infections and at least 6,759 deaths. This is the highest in Southeast Asia, experts also argue that instruction will be much higher if massive testing is carried out.
